Welcome to the SHIELD Regional Training Center, the Shasta-Tehama-Trinity Public Safety Training Consortium; a 501c3 non-profit organization in the north state where public safety entities have formally joined forces to execute a vision to provide frequent and affordable training courses for all public safety organizations in our region.
Keeping training local allows member agencies to send more staff more frequently to training, while keeping Public Safety resources close to home.
Providing training close to home allows Public Safety agencies in our community to maximize their training budget on higher level and more frequent training opportunities.
Member agencies working and training together promotes interagency knowledge to ensure higher levels of service and safety to our communities.
In partnership with Shasta College, attendees can earn college credit while exploring new career opportunities and/or meeting professional development requirements.
